hello I have played Dayz in the past on this same computer and me and my friends wanted to play so i reinstalled it and now i get the ERROR Out Of Memory.
i seen a post recently about downloading the Dayz experimental game and change file names and what not but the only problem with that is when i downloaded the Dayz exp game my file names are not called the same as the files i seen to change.
I also know my computer is more then fine to handle Dayz that is not the issue here.

You are most likely misunderstanding something. The possible solution you most likely have found is to Delete the contents of your DayZ Documents folder, disable Steam cloud sync and then copy paste the files from DayZ Exp folder in Documents to the DayZ one. In order to create this folder however, the game needs to be launched at least once. If you cannot get to the main menu even, the issue is likely not caused by corrupted configuration file, unless you still have the old one present from before when you uninstalled the game.
If you are unable to try the documents folder fix, then we suggest making sure you have enough memory allocated and nothing eats up your ram while booting the game.
Also depending how long ago have you played the game, please make sure your computer still meets the hardware criteria as the minimum requirements have changed over time - https://store.steampowered.com/app/221100/DayZ/
