My character have salmonella and it won’t go, I took a lot of charcoal and I still have it, I got cured once but suddenly it came back, after I got cured the first time I didn’t eat raw/rotten food and my hands was clean.
It’s really annoying that my character make pain sound, and even more annoying that I have to take small bits/sips.

While this might be an actual bug too, there's a few other things that might be causing this.
- Did you eat bear or wolf meat? They have a chance of containing salmonella even after cooking.
- Curing it with charcoal requires very careful dosage; too long breaks between pills will quickly negate the recovery process.
- The disease icon disappears a bit before you're fully healed. So take one extra pill to make sure you're really cured.
- Salmonella can transfer to food and water when you consume them, so get rid of all leftovers to avoid reinfecing yourself afterwards.
