I have been using a solution for the error that has been happening for a year now. The solution is the one posted in this reddit post by Flames_Arisen:

When the error AuthPlayerLoginState (0x00040031) happens follow these steps:

1. On the DayZ title screen after a failed login, change your characters name to something different, hit apply.
2. Change it back and hit apply.
3. Then click “play” again.

Maybe there is a chance to reverse engineer this to solve this ever lasting error. Please try it out. TY
