I remember when duct tape could repair anything and it was wonderful and decided apt considering the survivalist meme of "duct tape fixes anything"...

But then came the exploit of being able to restrain yourself and replenish the duct tape making it an ever lasting item and when they fixed this bug they also nerfed the usefulness and I feel this is simply misplaced with the spirit of DayZ and fun.

I'd love to see a full return or duct usefulness or a compromise of repairing anything to "damaged" needing the respective tools I.E sewing or gun cleaning to worn.

It would be more forgiving to players and further embrace the struggle of the rustic world.
