On October 18th, I was playing DayZ with two friends. My friend and I were in the industrial area between Krasnoe and Stary Yar, while our other friend was heading towards us along the edge of the map. At one point, I spotted another player, and my friend and I took shelter in a small warehouse for a while. A bit later, this player killed our friend, seemingly using cheats to remain invisible, inaudible, and untouchable.

After killing our friend, the player approached us and claimed that he had killed a hacker along with our friend, thinking our friend was another hacker because he was coming directly toward us. We left the warehouse and headed towards Krasnoe along the edge of the map, when suddenly items began falling around us, including a plate carrier vest, a KAS-74, and a can of beans.

This all occurred around 11:00 PM.
