Ever since the new Frostline patch my side mouse buttons do not function in DayZ. I have not purchased Frostline (yet!) but I am playing on the corresponding patch. I have bound my 'Crouch' and 'Prone' to the 2 extra thumb buttons on my Roccat Kone Air mouse and have played with this setup for about a year. Every other game i play these 2 thumb buttons function correctly except for in DayZ, the only game these buttons do not register at all. Ive tested this bug on official and on a few modded servers, its the same.

In DayZ I cannot get these buttons to register anything ingame. The 2 letters i have assigned to those buttons just do not register. Its as if all extra mouse buttons do not exist in DayZ.

I have a buddy running a Logitech MMO mouse and all of his extra buttons do still register. Its as if this is a problem specific to my brand, Roccat, and this game, DayZ PC.

I noticed this bug on patch day and ive waited a few days thinking the bug might get patched out but as of right now i have the exact same bug. Please help me as im currently playing handicapped using a keyboard setup im not familiar with and its tough! :P
