So the issue began when i launched DayZ and it either crashed or made my computer 'come across a problem' and had to restart. This kept happening after i verified games files/reinstalled the game on stream. i did some research and found people with the same issue and had a solution. They said to 'download DayZ Experimental, launch it, and then copy the files from the document DayZ Exp to the normal Dayz, change the DayZ Exp.cfg to Dayz.cfg, then launch the normal DayZ'. However, i stupidly misinterpreted this and copied over the dayZ experimental GAME FILES in steam apps on my hard drive and not in documents where character data is stored etc. However, upon doing this the game booted up fine but i couldnt join my usual offical server due to 'data verification error: server installation is corrupt. Missing PBO file - addons\vehicles_water.pbo'. I have checked my normal DayZ files and this PBO file is present in the folder and i have also tried copying over the addons\vehicles_water.pbo from the experimental DayZ files. Again, i have tried to both verify the game files and reinstalling the game and nothing works.
