Observation:
Characters (Player or AI) are either fully combat effective (limb major injuries can have minor effects but) or completely out of action (dead or incapacitated).
Therefore:
- units that were incapacitaded by heavy wounds can get up and instantly fight at full effect.
- there is no visual feedback of AI healthy state besides bloody clothing
Expectation:
- Units with unattended heavy injuries should have reduced combat capabilities: reduced vision, reduced accuracy (increased sway), restricted movement.
- Add a general animation to representing the critical state of the unit. For example slightly hunched stance with weapon in one hand the other on the stomach.
- Treating injuries would restore to normal state.
Gameplay benefits:
Gameplay would be more fair. No more getting hit by units that were out of action moments before.
