Hello BaconBuns.
Have you tried to completely delete the DayZ documents folder (while Steam cloud sync is disabled) and then verify the game data through Steam? Also please try to do a clean install of your GPU drivers and make sure to have the latest version installed.

Think I might have found out what was causing crashes, the AMD drivers for the graphics. They were returning Driver Crash errors (AMD driver timeout) that could not bee seen, the solution seems to be to run andrenalin software but to drop frequency of the card to 95 percent...! It runs reliably for hours now but one has to keep an eye on the settings as Adrenalin seems to want to push the frequency back up on it´s own over time...
