When recovering a (non-ruined) bolt from a zombie you are given two options.
- If you have no bolt in your crossbow you can left click to pull the bolt from the zombie and reload the crossbow
- If you already have a bolt in your crossbow you can press F to recover the bolt into your inventory
Number 2 is not working. The only way I can recover a bolt is via the reload method. If I already have a bolt loaded, I need to unload it and then use the reload method to recover the stuck bolt.
In this video I start by using method #1 (reload) and for the second zombie I try method #2. As you can see, the character does the recovery animation but no bolt is added to my inventory and it still shows stuck to the zombie.
