Adjusting stance when interaction options are nearby does not work
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Game Version number: 1.2.0.124
Modded?: No

Issue Description: When adjusting the character stance (LCTRL+SCROLL UP/DOWN), if a player has any option to interact nearby he simply does not adjust stance.

Many times have I tried to duck lower to hide my upper body behind a vehicle and could not adjust stance because of "push", "open door" or "Get in" options making me unable to change the stance and because of such I get shot in the head.

Here's a video of me trying to adjust stance when an interaction is visible and when it is not (I'm trying to adjust stance when he is standing still doing nothing)

Steps To Reproduce

1- Go near a vehicle or door and look at something that you can interact with
2- Adjust stance (LCTRL+ mouse scroll)

Additional Information

To adjust stance when an interaction option is visible you have to look away for it to work.

This happens because the default keys to adjust stance is "LCTRL and mouse scroll". When scrolling the mouse the game prioritizes scrolling the popup interactions and not adjusting the stance even when there's only 1 interaction visible.
When changing stance up and down to another key it works normally.
Adjusting leaning stance (LCTRL + Q/E) works normally, only the mouse scroll does not work.

A possible fix would be to make the game prioritize changing stances when LCTRL is being pressed.

Hello purechaos.
According to the dev team this is not a bug and works as intended. We are however aware it could be improved in the future.
