Hello so far my game has crashed 2 out of 4 attempts to play in campaign mode. I am able to open the game and then choose the mission I am at but then it freezes on the brief menu with the map in the background. I also attempted in multiplayer and it worked fine. Thank you for your time and this newly discovered awesome game.

Ah the good old map icon crash.
Have seen it before, don't know what causes it and cannot reproduce it.
You could try switching to profiling branch, its possible that the fixes on there might affect this crash too.
