Mission Statistics gone from map menu after loading Contact and S.O.G. Prairie Fire DLC
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After installing the Contact and S.O.G. Prairie Fire DLC's the Mission Statistics pull out in the map menu that shows how many enemy and friendly you've killed is now missing. Why on earth was this removed? I would have never bought these DLCs had I caught this
If I disable the Prairie Fire and Contact DLC's then I get this old menu back.

I don't know what this new menu is, but i can't stand it

It's missing the Kill statistics I've been using for 10 years. I almost returned these DLCs today. The only way to get the old style map back is to disable these DLCs but then I loose the assets in the editor. This is very frustrating. Add and option for the old menu again please.

This new map is basic, stripped. Horrible.

Additional Information

When you change things, please give customers the option to add old menus back. There's nothing more frustrating when you add a DLC thinking your just adding a new game and assets only to find it's removing features that were always there.

Event Timeline

Where did these options go? I used it all the time in game play. I would love to also be able to add it on the main game screen much like a mini map

Contact DLC is a spin off expansion and is not designed to be loaded when you're not playing its singleplayer campaign. It's the one doing UI changes to map interface.

Yes, I see what's going on now, Thank you Veteran29
A user at BIS forums also mentioned this to me, and it fixed the map issue. But what's strange is, why did I have to load Prairie Fire in the DLC menu of the launcher to gain access to the assets, Maps, Object...ect? I've never had to do this with DLC's I've bought in the past - they just installed automatically as default DLCs. Either way, it's working now. Thank you.

S.O.G.: Prairie Fire is a part of the Creator DLC program and is not developed by Bohemia Interactive, that's why it has to be installed and enabled separately, https://arma3.com/dlc/creator#FAQ .
