DAYZ HUD Disabled at Random

Description

The Hud will become disabled over a period of time on PC Windows 11.
During this bug you will be unable to use the hot keys to re-enable the HUD.
The only two fixes I know of are as follows.

  1. Open the options menu and manually disable/enable the HUD and it will work normally for a time.
  2. restart the game completely.

Gameplay duration >3 to 5 Hours.
Screen capture software could be used to identify when the bug takes places.

I have the same problem with the HUD showing shortcuts to items.
All you have to do is restart the server you're playing on, and when you come back the HUD will be gone.
The ways to fix it have already been mentioned above.

Doing the "open the options menu and manually disable/enable the HUD" has long been a standard ritual for me and all my fellow players when we play dayz. This bug could also be fixed. but hey, fixing bugs? Nah...

This does not happen at random but on server restarts, the only random thing might be whether it will or will not happen and this issue is with use for ~3/4 patches now.
