DayZ Crashing when loading into server.
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

Hi,

Im having an insane issue withDayZ. Used to be running 16gb DDR4 when i bought DayZ and one day I took a nap after playing DayZ, came back 2 hours later to play and it blue screened me, thought this was odd so i tried validating files, didnt work. I tried re-installing, didnt work. I tried playing on a new computer, did the same thing. I also just recently tried updating my Ram to 32gb DDR4 and this did not work either.

Somehow whilst loading into a server (Any server, Vanilla, Modded) DayZ decides it needs all 32gb of my ram and sends my PC into a nosedive. If anyone has any help they can offer or solutions to this problem I would greatly appreciate it as I would love to return playing DayZ

Specs: Intel i7-10700KF @ 3.8ghz
32gb 4x8gb Corsair DDR4 3600Mghz
RTX 2060 Super

Hello Gabsterrr.
Please try the following:

Verify the game data through Steam and delete the configuration files when prompted to do so (make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled for DayZ before doing this) - you can also delete the config files manually by clearing the C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder

Open the DayZ launcher
Select PARAMETERS menu
Select ALL PARAMETERS tab
scroll down and check "Bulldozer" parameter
Launch the game
Once launched, close the game
Uncheck bulldozer
Launch the game again without any parameters

Regards,
Geez
