Additional Information

Unlike SCR_HintManagerComponent::Show(), ShowCustomHint() and ShowCustom() currently do not have an ignoreShown parameter.

As a result, ShowCustomHint(), which according to the comments is primarily intended for debugging, is not relilable for this purpose.
