Having played though this scenario a few times i really enjoy the idea and setting, but can't help but feel like some things are missing.

The first is Supply.
Supply is a huge part of the PVP modes, but it seems to be non existent in the new combat ops scenario. Why is this? new players would gain some good experience in learning the supply system and get a chance to build some routes and map knowledge. The game mode itself isn't even consistent with supplies. Certain roadblocks or encounters have supply but you can't do anything with it, apart from loading or unloading into another vic. Even finding a FIA construction truck and enough supply to build, i was unable to do anything much to my disappointment. To me it would seem like a natural fit to integrate supply. Bring supply to hideouts to build them up for extra gear or even spawns if and when you die. You could even have empty armories with select equipment that could be filled and used in different hideouts. Delivering supply to friendly FIA forces could also be an incentive or be rewarded with more friendly troop presence.

The second is radio network
Radio/signal is another part of the PVP modes that seems to be lacking in combat ops. Going after our two big towers (Entre and Regina) should be one of your first goals depending on you area of operation and an easy way to show new players the simple process of switching it over, and increasing coms over distance. The second part of this is that most players myself included were completely unaware that FIA command trucks are hidden around the map. Unfortunately you cant deploy the MCU's, But you can take radios from the back to use as alternate spawn points that have the extra feature of being able to be picked back up (which aligns with multiplayer).

The last point is Exploration
For me when i first started the combat ops scenario i had little idea of what to do, so i ended up exploring. There are some cool little hidden soviet squads and equipment as well as little FIA encampments around the map but often you are better sticking to marked locations. I would like to see more hidden around the map, as well as hints encouraging players to explore. Especially hidden American equipment and unique locations. One round i played had our squad flying around in an MI-8 searching the islands in the south west. Unfortunately there is nothing out there apart from picturesque little docks and cabins. Even having a hidden Huey out there or a American armory would be enough to give some players a reason to check the far corners and reward their curiosity. There are a bunch of unique areas which would be cool to incentivize players to check out just on the main island. Places like; The power plant in the north, The castle in the south, various hidden villages and coastal campground locations. Finding an American M2 Humvee or jeep would be more then enough reason for some of us to check it out, especially the parts of the map that don't see much action in other modes.
