Yep maybe it matters. First i add 16 stone to the fireplace and bulid a stone circle. On next day i dismantled the circe and build a oven.

this is a weird and quite old bug.
if u actually CRAFT the fireplace and place it, and then built the stoneoven - all slots can be used on it.
but when u just place a rag (or whatever kindling) and light it (which ofc creates a fireplace) and maybe add some sticks/logs (or don't) and THEN build the stoneoven, u wont be able to use any of the cooking slots (pots, frying pan, fruits, meats), only the ones to dry.
