Continuous Stacking Server-BAN Reforger
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

My friend has been recieving a bug where his server bans have not just been stacking, but also carrying between servers. For context, he isn't a griefer or habitual teamkiller by any means. Often it is an accidental TK such as a live nade, car crash, or even suicide/respawn that bans him. His ban is currently at one day, and he's hesitant to even open tha game as he recived this punishment for one accidental TK just a few minutes into a match.

Hello Query22.
If they keep performing criminal actions, they will be kicked from the game but they will not be prevented from rejoining.

That will happen some times in a row (it depends on dynamic calculations, typically 3 times at most), and after that the next time they perform a criminal action they'd be receiving a 5 min server ban.

If they repeat an offence, they'd receive a 15 min server ban, and if they do it again, a 2h persistent ban. After that, the next ban will be of 8h and it will be a persisted ban. If after those 8h they reincur in an incident, they'll get 24h persistent bans continuously unless they redeem themselves.

To redeem themselves, players must play the game without participating in criminal action. That way, their acceleration will decrease, and that's the variable that we use to decide the recurrence of their actions.
