On the UH-1H autohover doesn’t really do its job correctly, you will constantly drift back or forward, you will also very slowly lose altitude. On the MI-8 it seems to bob or pitch up and down whilst in autohover as well and is plagued by the same issues.

Enable Autohover -> don’t touch the controls and just sit there for a few minutes and you’ll see how much drift or altitude descent occurs.
