Player body disappearing when looking at key directions
Acknowledged, NormalPublic

Description

Using a modded map, players located on the eastern half (Past the 085 Easting) of the map have their first-person body (weapons, arms, everything) disappear if looking in the 030, 090, and 150 directions.

Map demonstrating this issue can be found here.
Video demonstrating this issue can be found here.

Where: East of 085 Easting, looking 030, 090, 150.
The issue is more pronounced the further east you go
(For example, on furthest east edge GRID 161 086, the issue is present between angles 010 to 050, 065 to 100, and 110 to 150)

What: Player body disappears in first person. Effect also present (and sometimes more pronounced) in ADS.
Player body sometimes reappears when player is moving backwards or is in a different pose in their animation.

Steps To Reproduce

Replication:

  • Open the included "Kawartha Highlands Gamemaster" scenario and create a player located at any of the following coordinates:
    • 132 005
    • 115 017
    • 161 087
    • OR editor location X 13252.85, Y 21.99, Z 470.42, angles X -0.41, Y 92.5, Z 0
  • Move forward to reset animation. Continuing to move forward may help the issue manifest.
  • Open compass, and in first person look toward the 030, 090, or 150 directions. Holding RMB to raise the compass and "Aim" may help the issue manifest.

This problem also occurs with other weapons, M16A2, AK-74, and using all units (US and Soviet) that we tried.

Additional Information

Other:
Problem seems to go away if there are NPCs or character bodies within the view frustrum. Makes me wonder if it has something to do with caching the player's body.
Confirmed on 3 dissimilar computers running modded map in Reforger. Also present in the world editor preview mode.
