Description

Hello,

I'm playing DayZ on Xbox Series S and running my private server on Nitrado.

The issue
Most of the time when I log in to my server, the normal 15 seconds countdown goes through and loading screen appears. Once loading is completed my game freezes on a blurry screen of the main menu (where you can see your character and the shipwreck behind). It completely freezes unable to do anything and does not launch I have tried to wait for over 5 minutes. Re-launching the game and trying to connect to the server, freezes on the same screen again. Sometimes after trying over 5 times I can successfully connect, but it's still an issue.

The bad fix
I've read online that changing networks helps with this issue, so I connected my Xbox to my mobile data and tried again, now it connects with no problems. Changing back to Wi-Fi and game freezes again. I played a few hours on mobile data then changed back to Wi-Fi and it was able to successfully connect.

Can somebody please help me? I really don't want to keep changing between mobile data and wi-fi to be able to play.

  • Changing back to wi-fi freezes on login again.

Notes

  • My friend who plays on Xbox One S does not have that problem.
  • Connecting to other servers on the Wi-Fi works, but when I try to connect back to mine it freezes again.
  • Sometimes even mobile data freezes on login and I have to re-launch again.

Seems like there is a problem on your network when connecting to that specific server. Unfortunately there is not much more info we can provide.

Samething happens to me have u found a way to fix this yet

Samething. Xbox Series X. On the Playstation on the same provider, the same connection works without problems.

I'll add more, how the problem manifests itself

  1. appears on all servers, both official and community
  1. if you connect to a server where there are already players >30, it will freeze on start
  1. if you connect to a server where there are few players <5-7, the game is loaded, but the loading slider is filled with 1/5. The game continues to work for a while. After a while, there is a conflict, for example, it is impossible to pick up anything. Then the zombies and other players freeze. At the same time, the character is mobile and the voice of other players can be heard.

How to fix it?
