You can no longer make fishing rods or sharpened sticks for cooking out of brooms.
You used to be able to sharpen a broom, turning it into a long stick.
Then you could use it to cook food on it, or attach a rope to fish.
Or attach a stone/bone knife to turn the broom into a spear.
All you can craft out of a broom now is short sticks.

We have tested this thoroughly but we are unable to produce the issue on our end.
When we split broom/broom_birch we always get 3 short sticks and 1 long stick, which can be sharpened or attached to rope to make a fishing rod.
I did not expect that splitting a broom into smaller pieces would give you a long stick, I did not try that :)
I would like the option to sharpen it straight away to be possible, I think most people will not try to split the broom to get a stick of the un-split length.
Or attach a rope straight away to craft a fishing rod :)
