Community Server Owners NEED Your Help PLEASE!
Reviewed, UrgentPublic

Description

Hello,
I hope all who reads this are well. I am a long time server owner, player, and modder for DayZ. It’s become a great passion of mine. I wanted to share my latest experience with the 1.23 update, as it seems to have fallen on deaf ears in other avenues.

I currently own and operate 6 community servers on the DayZ platform on Xbox, and have built a large flourishing community over the past few years. Since the update, 4 of my 6 servers have been completely unusable, either stuck in a restart loop, or not starting at all. Many other community server owners are having this same issue.

Several different representatives for Nitrado have claimed to have ‘resolved’ the issues in support tickets, however, nothing has changed. All of the servers still remain unplayable.

I have exhausted all avenues offered through nitrado to resolve the issues, without any success so far. Most recently, my server video was featured on the monthly DayZ Community Spotlight. After 2 weeks of back and forth with nitrado, several server wipes, reinstalls, recommended settings changes, reverting to default xmls, the still the server is unplayable. I have gone as far as to buy brand new servers in attempts to get this running and have had no luck. It’s been disappointing to say the least.

There are many other community server owners fighting the same fight over the past couple of weeks since release. I’m almost certain I speak for all of us when I say, we could really use some outside help here.

Thank you for your time,
Bennett

Bennett’s DayZ servers are the best on console (Xbox). This is a travesty of service, Nitrado. Please make this right.

Please assist in fixing this issue as it is negatively impacting my enjoyment of DayZ on Xbox, and is giving Nitrado a horrible name as far as customer support goes.

Bennett does have the best servers on console. Period. The fact that nothing has been done to fix even a few of the servers is indeed a travesty. And honestly it reflects very poorly on the services Nitrado offers. I for one will not be recommending anyone use their services until this is resolved, please do the right thing and help make dayz on console great again.

Bennett is a hard working man who puts a lot of effort into giving players an enjoyable experience. Please help resolve this issue and stop giving him the run around <3

If you uncheck use server time, it'll stop the restart loop if it still causing the issue.

Hello everyone, please try to untick this if your server is stuck in restart loop.

In my first message above, you’ll see that I’ve tried this already, many times, without success.

Can you please provide us with the IP's of the affected servers?

Also ids of the tickets you have opened with nitrado please.

Tickets - #475854, #483144
IPs of affected servers

109.230.243.71:11000 - have tried changing system time settings, wiping server, reverting to default xmls, no success.

109.230.214.213:12400 - same as above, but did not revert to default xmls

109.230.243.141:20000 - just purchased, unchecked system time, still looping

109.230.243.94:10100 - have not touched since nov 7, will not remain started

95.156.213.30:11900 - my test server, I’ve tried everything here as well, no success

Just hear to say. Bennet does a lot of work for his member to enjoy his servers and play on a daily basis. It’s pretty insulting to him and his members to not be helping him to get his servers back up as he brings many players to your game.

Check rpt logs when you try and start the server and it loops. It should tell you what's wrong then just fix it from there. What I did when 1.23 released.
