If we drop fence kits on the ground, majority of the time, we are unable to pick them back up.
If we drop them out of our inventory onto a stack of gear on the ground, it messes up that whole stack and we loose the ability to pick anything up.

This happened to me too, I made like 4 or 5 fence kits in one go and can't pick any of them up in either the vicinity or looking at them and using the X button. It's like they stacked on top of each other till you can't pick up the top one, and it covers the rest underneath.
