This happens in the last patch as well as on experimental. I've had this issue with the new DMR and several of the ARs. For example say you have three or four mags of a certain gun in your inventory. If you hit the button on your controller to reload it often will not auto reload a different mag into the gun. You have to go into your inventory and click on the different mags to do so manually.
Sometimes doing this fixes the problems other times there's just two or three mags that will not by button push auto reload you have to always go into inventory and click on them to make them load into the gun.
Everyone I play with has the same issue.

Steps To Reproduce
In game finding AR or new DMR
Loot and find more than one mag for the gun.
Try hitting button on controller to load in new mag from inventory.
Have to go into inventory and load in each mag individually to sometimes get rid of the problem other times one or more the mags will only load manually about going into the inventory and clicking on the item to load it into the gun.

Me and several of my friends all play on the Xbox Series X.
We typically play on several community servers occasionally on vanilla and have had the issue on all of them.
I think that's also may happen on other guns but it seems to not happen nearly as much for example with pistols.
Last night was playing with two other friends and we were all having the issue that's why I decided to finally post this

We cannot seem to reproduce the issue on our end on the vanilla setup servers. Could this be an issue with modded servers spawning the weapons in any other way than normal?

Geez this bug has been a thing for ages possibly all the way back in 2020 update 1.07 when I started playing game 7k+ hours later playtime, it is not every time and very inconsistent even on official servers is a bug, putting gun away and taking back out in to hand doesn't even fix issue, you have to open inventory and manually combined a mag which sometimes fixes issue next time try normal method of holding Y. Or use a different gun sometimes fixes and so on it's a very real bug experienced with extended play time due to other factors and actions to reproduce will require to play for a extended period of time and preform various actions, use a silenced handgun and fight zombies that way often will probably be fast track way to experience bug can happen with all mag fed guns.
Also there's the issue with if wearing nvgs, head torch or helmet with a flashlight with battery attached also preventing mags being switched via holding Y and rather turning light on.
But the mag bug happens without wearing lights or nvgs too.
All my friends also experience bug regardless of platform of Xbox type.
