Hello,
I am unable to chat in game. I can chat in parties and any other multiplayer game but not dayz.
It is not related to push to talk or voice activated settings.
So far I have tried the following:
Uninstall and reinstall
Clear the save game info on the xbox
Static ip for the xbox
It seems like it has happened to a few people based on searches online.
My username is the same as my site username.

Are you in an xbox party? as you have to leave the party in order to be able to talk ingame.
This is not related to being in a party or not. It is not on my side. I have tried everything and have no issues in any other game. Its a fairly well reported issue.
When I get into a game and look at the online player list my profile is normally the only profile that doesn't have the mic beside it incidicating that I am connected to voip
Try the following:
Make sure xbox system is up to date
Turning off your mic and turning it back on
Unplugging your mic and plugging it back in
Sometimes this helps me when this happens to me.
