Arma 64 bit crashing right after loadup.
New, NormalPublic

Description

{F3149004}This has happened to me since the start of the week, I have tried these steps.

  • Reinstalling C++ Redist (Worked this morning but now doesn't)
  • Verifying game files
  • Updating Graphics card
  • Clearing up some space on C:
  • Disabling all other params I had set

While 32 bit does work, it only crashes my game with a out of memory feedback.

I looked around and found other similar cases. The error message I got was
STATUS_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION
While I didn't get any clear picture on what exactly it is, something about the memory allocator was relevant. Though my memory allocator has worked fine for over 3 months now.

The illegal instruction is inside your graphics drivers. dxgi.dll/nvcuda64.dll
Part of Nvidia's graphics drivers, we can't do anything about that

You have the latest video drivers installed though.
Which is

Version: 537.42 WHQL
Release Date: 2023.9.21

So.
The crash is inside your graphics driver.
You say it happened since the start of the week.
Nvidia released a driver update two days before you created the ticket.
You have that latest driver update installed.

Maybe downgrade your graphics drivers?
