Script Mismatch on server join corrupting all local mod data
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As of at least 9/19/23 upon receiving the error message "script mismatch" when joining a modded server, the player attempting to join will have all local mods (under Mod Manager in the workshop) immediately disabled. These mods are likely corrupted as they can no longer be deleted, enabled, or played and require the user to clear all mod data manually.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Receive "script mismatch" error
  2. Attempt to join server again without closing Reforger
  3. If the same error occurs view local mods in Mod Manager
  4. All mods will be disabled and cannot be interacted with
Additional Information

This has now occured in exactly the same order (v0.9.9.97) twice for me. The second time on viewing the Mod Manager I was able to watch in real time as the local mods were moved from "Enabled" to "Disabled" one by one over a second or two.
If a mod that is not present locally (and has not been deleted in the same session) is downloaded from the server the "script mismatch" error occurs far less, but is still possible.
