I've tried everything. setttings are on. Switched mice. The mouse works while moving but there is no cursor. please help

Do you mean the mouse cursor or weapon crosshair on screen? As the crosshair can be disabled by the server owners.

The mouse cursor. Th crosshair is there. but during the menu screen and inventory screen, there is no mouse poinnter to pick objects

I tried switching the resolutions too, didnt work

Can I know tentatively by when this will be solved? I cannot play the game and it's affecting my community

We have tested this very thoroughly but unfortunately we cannot produce this on either public or our internal versions. Is there a possibility we are missing some crucial info as to how to produce this issue?

Step one launch dayZ on Xbox using your keyboard (enter)
Once the opening screen appears you'll notice you need to turn on your remote just to enter the main screen,
From there you should be able to use your mouse to go into the server select, but you'll notice there's no mouse, once again turn on your remote, press "a"
Once you're in the server select you should also be able to see your mouse, but you don't ( at any point from here on you have to have your Xbox remote on or a screen will prompt asking you to turn your remote back on( but if I'm using keyboard and mouse why is this necessary? Especially when your remote turns off after 5 minutes of not being used))
Once your server is selected (official or custom) you'll notice you can use your mouse to aim, zoom, look (works fine) but it's when you need to use the mouse itself i.e. moving inventory, sorting,
The game is "playable" like this but nomore playable than .62 was on xbone

Want to leave +- same issue, u dont see (white square) in inventory using controller.

Like u take planks and want them to put into proper fence slot via inventory, and u dont see what u choose there (white square)

There are multtiple users facing these issues. Console is Xbox one. Can something be done please? Alternatively we will have to find something else to play. Been loving Dayz, would be shame to let it go

@Geez just a regular wired mouse and keyboard, what are you using to mimic the issue? Is it a dev xbox? Vould that be why you don't have these issues? Maybe the copy of DayZ you're using is different in some way from what I and everyone else plays. It's odd that everyone except you has this issue

Unfortunately there are no new developements on our end.

This is how we do it? Keep users hanging? great team execution there. By this time you would have lost a segment of target audience. User experience is at the prime no?

We understand that this might be very frustrating for you. However, we cannot seem to produce the problem on our end and in such case it is hard creating a fix. In case you come across any other info that can possibly lead us towards producing this on our end, please let us know here. we are watching this space!

Xbox is currently in the process of changing their 3rd party hardware accessory policy to go into affect this month, and banning tons of devices and while changes aren't rolled out yet people already experiencing issues, a lot of news outlets saying m&k's won't be affected but some experiencing issues various games, there's a lot going on in the background by Xbox.

Try to clear alternative Mac address in network settings, in advanced tab. Probably won't do anything but helps with Mic / Voip issues

The mouse is working, had to buy 3 different mice, the 4th worked. Case closed for now.

I did have this issue however it started working the day after

I had this issue few times. It mostly solved itself on restart/reboot. But now i had it permanently after connecting it to my console. Tried reboot and restart method and it just crossed my mind what would happend if i switched the usbs. Now its visible without even restarting the game. Hope this helps someone :)
