When trying to build to player built items next to each other, the game in experimental version does not allow for you to put the two items right up against each other, resulting a huge cafe that you can easily be shot through and people can see into your base.

Steps To Reproduce
Use two watch tower kits and try to place them back to back on a perfectly flat surface (which is another HUGE issue as it only allows you to build in minimal places). Its is impossible to get the two close enough to close the gap that will allow players to shoot you through it.

Same applies to trying to butt up a fence kit to a watch tower. If the thought is for less people to build fort bases and just fortify buildings, please give us some better base building objects/looser restrictions.
