Description

I cannot start the DayZ game on PC ( windows 11 ) ....every time I get a troubleshoot report exit code : 0xC0000374 - STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION.

I did wait for Steam to update and I also rebooted comp ..

simply looging in creates this......after the 15 second intro the game screen just disappears and the troubleshoot report appears / game closed in an unusual manner

Can you please try to do a clean install of your OS and let us know if there is still a problem?

just noting....your details section says OS is windows 7 but I actually have windows 11 home version . Are you asking me to uninstall windows and reinstall the operating system .....or reinstall steam ?

I think I solved.........somewhere in the Steam library (?) i found a way to check my DayZ install and an analysis revealed 2 corrupted files that gave me the option to automatically repair and I THINK all is good again .
