After the release of experimental version 0.9.9 and transition to the SA vehicles system I found several bugs related to vehicles. I thought that they would be fixed in stable release of 0.9.9, but unfortunately these bugs remained in stable version 0.9.9.47
- Engine start time. In the experimental version I noticed that cars start up instantly despite various factors such as HP of engine zone (engine start chance is calculated in engine hit zone script). Any car starts instantly without any delays and also doesn't have starter sound.
- In version 0.9.8, if the car was started and the player completely destroyed engine hit zone, the car engine was stopped and would not start again. Starting from the experimental version, when engine hit zone reaches 0 HP, the car's engine doesn't stop and engine sound continues. If you sit back in driver's seat, the action will still be called "Stop Engine" and the character will forever try to STOP car's engine (just like he would have tried to start it in 0.9.8), but nothing will come of it and the car's engine will still be running.
I could record videos to show these bugs in comparison (0.9.8 and 0.9.9 versions), but unfortunately the 0.9.8 version is no longer available and cannot be selected in the Steam Betas tab
