Hello there, dear developers!
I hope you're doing well. I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and concerns regarding the collision of objects in your game, DayZ. I been playing it for quite some time now, and I must say I was extremely surprised by the poor implementation of object collision in the 2023 version of the game.
Specifically, I want to address the issue with tree collisions. Let me explain a recent situation I encountered: I was in a stealthy ambush position with a grenade launcher, spotted an enemy, took a shot at them, and to my utter disbelief, I died because, get this, the grenade I fired got caught on the leaves of a nearby tree and exploded right in front of me.
Now, here's what baffles me.'s 2023, and while you're adding masks and goggles to the game, you still haven't fixed the damn tree collision issue. The grenade launcher was added in some patch, and didn't it occur to you that players might use it to shoot through trees or bushes? Apparently not.
I kindly request you to pass along this message to the DayZ developer team, if you actually care about your community. It's frustrating to see such a glaring oversight in an otherwise enjoyable game. I believe addressing this collision problem would greatly enhance the gameplay experience and make it more realistic.
Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I hope you consider my feedback and work towards improving the game.
Sincerely,
Lorane152
