I've found that with the 3-9x optic on, the M40 sniper rifle shoots a fixed distance to the right of the reticule at any zoom level. So it's always going to shoot about half a mil or so right of zero, which depending on your zoom level and target range might make you miss by 50 centimetres or two metres. Interestingly the same issue is not present with the AN/PVS-2 attached. My theory is that because the PVS-2 is offset to the left and works fine, the devs carried over the offset zero for the NV sight to the over the bore 3-9x optic by mistake. In that case, presumably it would be an easy hotfix.

Steps To Reproduce
No mods or optional DLC other than S.O.G
- Load into VR arsenal or Editor.
- Equip either M40 rifle.
- Attach M40 3-9x optic.
- Adjust optic elevation for say 500m.
- Shoot at target centre mass at 3x
- Notice miss by about 0.5 mils
- Zoom in to 9x and shoot centre mass again.
- Notice how miss is still 0.5 mils but accuracy increased - (Still a miss).
(Reproducable at any range - AN/PVS-2 functions correctly by comparison)
Additional Information
The M40 fills a specific niche in the arsenal. It's the only rifle available that has the inherent accuracy, range and zoom level to reach up to 1000m and achieve consistent, adequate performance while also being supressable. It would be really nice to see this issue fixed as currently the rifle is nigh unusable.

Update: Noticed that zooming in with the 3x-9x pulls the reticle out of center and down into the right.
