Whenever a controller is connected I can walk backwards and side to side without issue, but moving forwards does this weird stuttering-"hop" kind of thing that I find difficult to describe. It's sort of like the character is glitching in a way and disrupting the walk cycle. Like beginning the walk cycle, but them immediately stopping over and over again and you sort of shuffle forwards slowly.

Have a controller connected.
I know it's the controller being connected that causes the issue because as soon as I disconnect it the character can move forwards normally. This did happen on 1.20 too and I thought something was pressing on the toggle of the controller and that was overriding the kb (it wasn't). However on 1.20 by using the controller to walk forward the problem disappeared and it was possible to go back to kb and mouse. On 1.21 the controller has to be disconnected because walking forward and then going back to kb and mouse makes no difference.
I should mention that this glitch doesn't happen when using the controller to move. It works fine with the controller. It's only with kb and mouse and only with the controller connected.
It's not a major gamebreaking issue because I use kb and mouse anyway, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Hello HotRock1.
What kind of controller do you use? As we cannot produce this with xbox 1 controller.
