The Chinese Type 56 in game the model is actually of a Russian type 2 with its distinctive stock tang, straight lightening cut and Russian Cyrillic on the fire selector/rear sight block/serial number to boot

Also it's worth noting that in general the asset for Type 56 stands out a bit in quality from other weapons - the textures appear to either be of lower resolution, or with some sort of noise (possibly a by product of the dirt/scratches applied on it?), and the model itself has wonky proportions. Especially around the gas tube/gas block part, but it looks like the safety/selector lever is too long (with it's pin being too far back).
