I have issue and some other people had this issue called The Hand Bug it Occurs when an item gets bugged and Can't seem to drop it and Gets stuck in inventory Happens with ammo, Guns, Items, Pretty much everything and it's a game breaking bug for others. i have it happen in 1.20 update and same with 1.21 Experimental Branch. sometimes The Hand bug can turn the gun invisible and it's silent when shot.
