DayZ won't run on Windows after Steam download - x64.exe System Error

Description

Have downloaded (and uninstalled after error) DayZ game from Steam 3 times. Each time, I can open the Dayz client screen, but when I select "Play", I receive an error DayZ_x64.exe system error: "The code execution cannot proceed because was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

Exit code is 0x0000135 - STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND

download Dayz from steam, find game in steam library, choose "play", then "play" in Dayz client screen. Receive error message.

Additional Information

Have verified file validity through Steam, have uninstalled and reinstalled file with machine restart, and have attempted to start game in safe mode. All result in same system error.

Hello Nericody24.
This occurs because OS is unable to load a file that is required to run the game. A missing DLL may belong to the game, the OS or one of the required components (DirectX e.g.).

Possible solutions:
Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
Re-install DirectX.
Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (both x86 and x64 version), restart your computer and install the package again using this version (do not use the Repair function).
Run the Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.
