I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I was cooking some food over an open fire, I stepped onto the fire and started to take damage (as you'd expect) but the "broken leg damage" icon also appeared on the screen, as if I had jumped from a height. My leg was not broken, and the icon quickly disappeared, but I thought it a little odd.
