Bomb Physics Issue
New, NormalPublic

Description

I noticed that for some reason the M117 750lbs bomb nearly *ALWAYS* falls extremely short when using either the CCRP from the cockpit, or the CCIP from the "bombing camera", and this is so bad that the CCRP/CCIP will show me that I am "On Target" (the CCRP says it by text, the CCIP shows me with a reticle) and the bomb will fall hundreds of meters short (some times even more than one kilometer short).

Watching the bombs dropping on 3rd Person View and watching the bombs falling after I attempted to bomb a target makes me think that these bombs simply are not inheriting properly the velocity of the aircraft which it was released from, since they will pretty much stop dead in the air and then proceed to fall almost vertically down on the ground. And needless to say that this will be way off target, since the CCIP/CCRP expected a ballistic trajectory of the bomb.

I also noticed that even some other bombs (Mk84, Mk83, and even the Mk82 bombs) also have a slight chance suffer a similar effect when released from a high enough speed. (For the Mk82 I found that I needed to travel at around 1600km/h in order to see this happen)
But the M117 750lbs bomb seems to just ALWAYS suffer this issue when released.

Steps To Reproduce

Launch the game with ArmA 3 SOG Prairie Fire loaded, and NO MODS and NO OTHER DLC loaded;
Open the 3DEN editor on the terrain of your choice;
Place a plane (I used a F-4C Phantom);
Load it with M117 750lbs bombs;
Place a target (a tank, a building, infantry, etc.);
Place a marker right on top of the target;
Place a Zeus game master module set to "#adminLogged";
Launch the mission.

For CCRP:
Select the M117 750lbs bombs;
"Designate the target" on the mini map by pressing "Left Shift + Left Mouse Click" with the cursor on the target;
Watch the CCRP "bombing computer" screen;
Fly the plane towards the target;
Release bombs when the "Distance until Release" bar from the CCRP "bombing computer" just disappeared and it says "On Target";
Switch to Zeus mode once you fly over the top of the target;
Look for the falling M117 750lbs bombs;
Watch they fall at least hundreds of meters short (depending on the speed/altitude/angle during release they could fall more than 1 kilometer short).

For CCIP:
Select the M117 750lbs bombs;
"Designate the target" on the mini map by pressing "Left Shift + Left Mouse Click" with the cursor on the target;
Fly the plane towards the target;
Enter the "Bombing Camera" (the camera used to guide the AGM-12 Bullpup missiles) and find the target;
Release bombs when the "white reticle" CCIP crosshair is right on top of the target;
Switch to Zeus mode once you fly over the top of the target;
Look for the falling M117 750lbs bombs;
Watch they fall at least hundreds of meters short (depending on the speed/altitude/angle during release they could fall more than 1 kilometer short).

Additional Information

Sadly I can not provide video footage of this issue, since my computer is really weak and normally runs the game at around 20FPS when NOT trying to record, and I do not own a capture card (but then I also do not own a second computer either...). So I at least attempted to describe the issue as best as possible.

One of my theories is that this could perhaps be related to low FPS, since I frequently play with around 20FPS because my PC is weak.
