Typically once switched on, road flares can't be deactivated/switched off. However, if you get into a car with a lit Road Flare, it switches off automatically. It is then possible to even put the Road Flare back into the inventory and/or switch it on again.

Steps To Reproduce
- Get a Road Flare
- Switch it on
- Try to switch it off or put it in the inventory
- Get into a car and get out
- Check if the Road Flare is still on, and if it can be put inside the inventory.
