1.20 Claymore mine behaviour

Description

When you attach claymore detonator to a tripwire, the link between detonator and a mine breaks after server restart. So the only reliable option is landmines. But it would be nice to see in that list tripwired claymores. 1.20 has this among changes list "Increased the lifetime of improvised explosives to 5 days, which can be refreshed through a flagpole". It'd be nice to have them persistent for ~5 days or so.

Steps To Reproduce

It's better to reproduce it on official vanilla dayz servers (or if your test serv runs 24/7 at least 2-3 days straight that'll work too)

  1. Load on the server
  2. Spawn 5-6 claymores and same amount of tripwires
  3. Place them in locations where you think players won't get at all or the chances are very low (like open field or unreachable top of the building)
  4. Memorize those places (prntscreen or write down coords)
  5. Come back in 2-3 days.
  6. Enable godmod
  7. Check marked places
  8. You have to trigger every left claymore tripwire
  9. If it works, probably the issue is local and it's only on the serv I play.
  10. If some works and some are triggered/gone, that is a good result as well, means it works and its only local issue for me (some players probably triggered part of tripwires)
  11. If all of the tripwires are gone/triggered/don't detonate once you trigger them, means detonator and M18(Claymore) loses link with every restart

This is a known problem, however currently we can not address it on our end.
