I tried to build a improvised shelter with 4 long sticks and 50 short sticks but the build button don't appear

I think this is usually related to if the tent object would be clipping/too near another object - probably some discrepencies between where the Kit can be placed, and where the shelter can be constructed. Definitely had this before when trying to build it in a bush/under a tree.
