Lighting / Darkness Config
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

When you guys implemented the Bunker. Its a cool feature for Livonia first i gota say...

But i have a Grudge with the mechanic how the Darkness is Handled.
I would love to use this for Structures like Castles or Houses or the Tower on Green Mountain or the Basement in Tissy.
But the fact that the Dark area is basicaly turning the world to night only for you... any Window or other opening to the outside World is breaking the Immersion Immediatly.
Anyone from Outside will See me immediatly as if i was standing in bright daylight, even though i should be in a dark area and hard to see
while i will not be able to see anyone that is standing outside because it is like nighttime, even though he should be easy to see because of the sun lighting him up.

i get that you created this... lets call it "Work around" and it works perfectly fine for the implementation for the Bunker...

But it would be realy nice to have a proper implementation for the engine that darkens areas in the shadows properly while keeping the outside properly daylight.
maybe instead of a single point, let ppl define a box that makes any surface inside of that box reflect less and less environmental light the closer you get to its center... with a Min and a Max value maybe? still wont be perfect, but better then what we got now...
or maybe a texture type for the .RVMAT of buildings that tell the model which parts are exposed to environmental light and which are not so that inside textures are not reflecting light as if they were outside surfaces?... but i guess that would not effect any other object inside of the building which is not part of the building itself.

i realy dont know how to make something like this happening. but would be realy happy if you guys could improve the environment light stuff...
similar handling for nightime too maybe?
when the full moon is up, its realy easy to navigate outside, but when you get into a house, even if the moon is up. gota be dark in the house.
