Description

Whenever I am trying to join a server, whether it be a official server or a modded community server, I am unable to join and get the same 0x00040004 error.
I don't believe this actually has anything to do with my internet connection due to the fact that another person in my household using the same internet is able to join any server they want with no errors or kicks.
I have been unable to play DayZ for a few months now when I had no problems playing this game prior to then.

Hello EthanWP.
This error occurs when your network timeouts when connecting to the server. There possibly is an issue with your network or in the communication between the server and your computer.

See, I thought that could have been the issue too, but I have gone over all the troubleshooting methods in that regard. I have tried different connection methods, wireless, wired, plugging straight into modem and bypassing everything else on my network, but to no avail. I continue to, most of the time, instantly get the same error, 0x00040004. I have tried everything that I can think of, everything that was on this forum, and everything that was on other forums. This has been my last resort because right now, my game is completely unplayable.
