When I click join server accidentally and then the game loads for a long time until it times out.
I cannot stop connecting, there is no button to stop, pressing escape does not stop.

Steps To Reproduce
- join a server
- try to stop joingin a server
- cannot stop until the game is loaded (this can take 15+ seconds or sometimes it takes way longer if there are issues connecting)
Additional Information
If I connect to some community servers with 64 total slots, I get a black screen and it keeps loading forever and never connects me.
Pressing escape to cancel would really help me
