Banlist not kicking players
Reviewed, UrgentPublic

Description

Hello there!
I know you guys are super busy at the moment, and we appreciate all the hard work you put in it.
We're experiencing an issue which I'm honestly unsure if it's game (BI side) or server (Nitrado) related where people added to the banlist aren't kicked from the game.
I personally tried from both the Nitrado dashboard (usual working way) and by adding them to the ban.txt file, which worked just once a few updates ago and not for long, but none work.
This is a problematic issue for servers with specific ruling as PvE, RP and NoRaid because players playing against the server settings are still kept around causing amok.

As always, you guys are the best!

I honestly do not know since when a server needed a restart for banlist / whitelist to take place but no, not even the restart fixed that.

Hello TheDevilsKnock.

We apologize for the inconvenience, for the time being please use SteamID (if your platform is PC) or name (works on all platforms) as means of registering a player to the list while we work on restoring the option of using the hashed id.
Regards,
Geez

On console we do not have any other way beside using Nitrado dashboard [or api, same result] to add players to the 3 lists. Gamertags are added, but nothing takes place. I even tried the .txt files in the mission folder, to no avail.
This is what it looks like, whether gamertags are added directly from there or through the API.

Given the current issue of XML files not loading as well, I do suppose it might be a permissions error, but only you can know that for sure.
Right now we're just living chaos because alts are a really heavy issue for the console platform.

Banlist also not working

Thank you, I have passed this information onto the responsible people and we are going to take a look what could be done.
