Adding damaged barbed wire to a pristine bat will make the new crafted bat into a much worse condition item.

This makes crafting with barbed wire or nails a much worse weapon for melee.

We need a way to repair barbed wire/nails, or the newly crafted bat not be as nerfed.

Maybe allow repairs with pliers for the barbed wire bat.

I don't think the damage level of nails matter since they become pristine when you open a damaged box.
Damaged barbed wire for base building I don't think matters too much, might help raiders..
