Hello, I would like to add that this happens with the lights on cars too.
A few of us from Spaggies EXP server experienced this on Friday evening on livonia.

Heres a short clip of the car lights and also the lights of a fireplace going dark in lightning
NVG are affected too but in a way that you would expect.

I think this is a limitation of the lighting engine...
ALL light sources blank out when lightning strikes.
It's not very immersive... I'd love if it was improved.
